ISCD - Industry Sorting Code Directory

The ISCD Industry Sorting Code Directory is the definitive UK bank branch and building society database. It is maintained centrally by Voca Limited on behalf of the UK payments industry and it contains information about every bank branch in the country.

The sort code directory contains comprehensive sort code data including contact information such as branch address, telephone and fax number.

It also contains important clearing information, for example, whether or not a bank can accept direct debits and direct credits. This clearing information is valuable to an organisation that uses any of the UK clearing systems, i.e. BACS, CHAPS Sterling and CHAPS Euro and Cheque + Credit Clearing Company.
