 How BankVal Works.

BankVal is a web service. This means that the BankVal validation software, the dynamic validation rules and the dynamic data, i.e. Industry Sorting Code Directory + SWIFT BIC directory + ABA Routing number directory, are all located on the BankVal servers.

The services are accessed by your system over the internet. To use BankVal all that is required is a simple call to the service from within your software.

All processing of data is performed remotely on the BankVal web server and then the results are returned in real time over the internet to your system

As the messages sent over the internet contain your personal user ID and sensitive bank account details, they are protected using 128 bit SSL encryptions. This is the level of security used by on-line banking applications. BankVal is configured to only operate in this mode.

Standard API for all platforms

BankVal uses a standard SOAP API (Application Programming Interface). SOAP is the industry standard web service protocol that allows simple access to web services from your software.

The simple SOAP interface allows BankVal to be called easily from anywhere in your system. So your bank account details validation can be done at point of data capture, before submission to the payment processing networks or anywhere else for that matter.

With it's flexible SOAP API, BankVal can be called from any platform. It can be accessed from within an ERP system such as SAP or ORACLE, through to desktop applications such as Excel.
